Needed something to stop the cats clawing at the carpet at night as they try to get into the bedroom. They were ruining the carpet!!
Tried all sorts of things to stop them such as perspex, cardboard and sticky tape but couldn't find the right thing.
Then saw this advertised for sofas and thought it would be worth a try.
When we got the product, I wasn't expecting much. Looked like a roll of sticky back plastic but when I applied it to the carpet it was much thicker than I expected. It was easy to cut so I could fit it to the contours of the doorway. I liked the addition of the corkscrew screws to keep it in place and this worked well with the carpet.
The cats have tried to scratch it once or twice but they have not been successful at pulling any of it up. I would call that a success!!
Now they only scratch at the door. I can deal with that!!!!!

Took a long time to arrive, 2 weeks, but the product works and my cat no longer scratches the furniture where the sticky patches have been placed. They are easy to fit, although visible,especially in bright sunlight.
