Please fold a reinforced edge on the hatch as she tries to chew momentarily

I purchased this for my 90 lb dog who would be like WWF at the vet when needing to get her nails trimmed. It was so stressful for all involved that I just ignored her nails which I knew was not the solution. Fast forward to this purchase and it has been a god-send. It took her a while to get the hang of it but now we do it regularly. Very important to have high value treats in hand. This is a total game changer! I highly recommend and say be patient!

This is only the second evening training our dog to use the scratch board and it/she has taken one of her longest nails down to the quick! I angled the board with the bone at the bottom to stop her digging her nails into the bone shaped hole at the top. I had expected, and would have liked, the board to be bigger but our dog is happy to scratch it for a treat and it seems to work. Please note, There was a 2 week wait from ordering to delivery. Nevertheless, considering the vet has refused to clip her nails without sedation it still deserves 5 stars.

Exactly what we needed! Our dog is a nervous nelly and has not been a fan of us trying to clip her nails, even after positive reinforcement training. So our trainer told us about this and it's worked well for her front paws. We didn't get the adjustable board since we didn't know how she would take to it, so the angle doesn't always get her claws evenly, however they are much better than before! Having the hidden treat section was key as she is food motivated, so she took to it immediately. Would recommend.

I was skeptical about this product but glad I purchased it. It’s a great interactive toy with the purpose.Took a few days before my German shepherd learn the trick and now we have trimmed nails without any stress. Highly recommend!
